Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Most sites use them for analytics, advertising and session tracking. This one does not set any — not essential ones, not analytics ones, not marketing ones.
Why there is no cookie banner
UK and EU law requires consent before storing anything non-essential on your device. Because nothing is stored on your device at all, there is nothing to ask you about. A banner here would be theatre.
How analytics work without cookies
Site analytics are handled by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without following you to other sites. I can see that a page was viewed, roughly where in the world from, which site referred it, and on what kind of device. I cannot see who you are, and neither individual visitors nor cross-site profiles are built.
Forms
The newsletter and free-resource forms post directly to this site's own server. They set no cookies and do not embed any third-party tracking script.
Local storage and similar technologies
This site does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, web beacons or device fingerprinting.
Third-party requests your browser still makes
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. That request does not set cookies, but it does reveal your IP address to Google — noted here so the picture is complete. It is covered in the Privacy Policy.
If this changes
If I ever add something that does use cookies — an embedded video, a checkout, a different analytics tool — this page will be updated first and a proper consent banner will appear before anything is stored on your device.
